Learn the skill

Identify each folder by its full path and supplied contents. This workshop refuses a whole-folder move when its name is occupied at the destination, without merging or replacing records. Use an unused destination to preserve the folder in the way, then deliver the required folder. Real apps can behave differently.

Worked example

Separate example: if Projects/Birds must reach occupied Dispatch/Birds, first preserve Dispatch/Birds at an unused Archive/Birds path. Then move Projects/Birds into Dispatch and check both records, not just the folder count.

Starting inventory: Archive/Stage holds score.txt with New score and cast.txt with New cast. Projects/Stage holds score.txt with Earlier score and cast.txt with Earlier cast. Dispatch has no Stage folder.
Read the records, not just the shelf names. Here the new project starts in Archive.

Two Stage projects / starting inventory

Archive/Stage holds score.txt with words New score and cast.txt with words New cast. Projects/Stage holds score.txt with words Earlier score and cast.txt with words Earlier cast. Dispatch has no Stage folder. Put the new project inside Projects/Stage and preserve the earlier project inside Dispatch/Stage. Keep all four filenames and their words unchanged. Move whole folders only; do not copy or delete. A move into an occupied folder name is refused without changing either folder. Use only these invented records, not real device files.

Question 1 What happens if Archive/Stage is moved into Projects first?
Question 2 Which whole-folder move should happen first?
Question 3 After both correct moves, which path holds New cast?
Question 4 How many files remain across Projects/Stage and Dispatch/Stage?
Question 5 Which check proves the requested records are in the requested places?
