Input accuracy is correct insertions divided by all insertions. Retried letters count again; Backspace does not count as an insertion. Speed is completed characters, including spaces, divided by five and by active minutes. It needs at least ten active seconds on a declared physical keyboard. Touch, assisted, pasted and composed input do not receive a speed result. Input methods and timing are browser-reported practice estimates, not verified assessments. A 90% accuracy cue suggests a next practice; it is not a subject grade.

Pauses, hidden tabs, lost focus and long idle gaps do not add active time. Copying does not establish reading comprehension or spelling mastery. Only aggregate counts for the expected keys are saved, never the actual wrong characters or text from other fields.
