Read both full paths and supplied contents before acting. In this workshop a move into an occupied folder name is refused without merging or replacing anything. If an unused destination is available, preserve the earlier folder there before delivering the current one. Real apps can behave differently; ask for help with real warnings.

Worked example

Separate example: to deliver Projects/Birds when Dispatch/Birds is occupied, first move Dispatch/Birds to an unused Archive/Birds location, then move Projects/Birds into Dispatch. Inspect the words at both destinations.

Starting inventory: Projects/River/notes.txt says New river map. Dispatch/River/notes.txt says Earlier river map. Archive has no River folder. Both records must be preserved.
The folder names match, but their supplied records differ. Plan before moving.

Two River folders / starting inventory

Projects/River contains notes.txt with words New river map. Dispatch/River contains notes.txt with words Earlier river map. Archive has no River folder. The goal is to put the new map inside Dispatch/River and the earlier map inside Archive/River. Keep both files with their words and filenames unchanged. The workshop refuses any move into an already occupied folder name. No other files or folders change. Use only these invented records; no real files need to be opened or uploaded.

Question 1 What happens if Projects/River is moved into Dispatch first?
Question 2 Which move should happen first to reach the stated goal?
Question 3 After both correct moves, which path holds New river map?
Question 4 How many notes.txt files remain across Archive/River and Dispatch/River?
Question 5 Two notes files remain. Is that count alone enough to prove both required records survived?
