Signal Memory
One bit. Two ways to remember it.
A signal with a past
First open and close a data latch. Then compare a clock edge with a clock that simply stays high. Predict, apply a step, and collect the evidence. Hints and retries are free.
D is a prepared data bit; Q is the stored bit. Each investigation starts at Q = 0. A real chip does not necessarily start at 0.

Preparing controls does not advance this model. Apply step evaluates one settled state, with D prepared before any clock change. Real propagation delays, setup/hold limits and electrical behavior are not simulated.

Your memory-circuit discoveries
Fun fact: A two-bit memory can hold four different patterns: 00, 01, 10 and 11.
This is an ideal digital model. No batteries, tools or physical build are needed. Practice does not award grades or coins.
