AND means both conditions must be true for the same item. Check each condition separately, then combine the results. Passing one condition is not enough.

Worked example

For even AND greater than 10, 8 is even but too small, 15 is large enough but odd, and 12 passes both.

Rows 8, 12, 15 and 18 have separate even and greater-than-10 checks. Only 12 and 18 pass both. — Check each condition. AND needs both.

The Number Dock

The dock accepts numbers that are even AND greater than 10. Incoming numbers are 8, 12, 15 and 18. The lower boundary is strict: exactly 10 is not greater than 10. No other hidden rule is used.
