Play with lines
Let us play with lines. You can draw in the air with one finger. Look at box A, on the left. Its line bends smoothly. It is curved.
A straight line
Box B has a straight line. It keeps going in one direction. Trace it in the air. Now make a bendy line. Your finger can make both kinds!
Your turn
Find box C in the middle. Is its line straight or curved? Pause the video and tell your grown-up. You can show the shape with your finger too.
A smooth bend
The line in box C bends smoothly. It is curved. You might turn a curved line into a hill in a drawing. What else could it become?
A picture surprise
Here is a fun fact. The same circle can be a wheel, a window, or a pretend moon in a drawing. Your ideas make the picture your own.
