Point and count

One touch, one number

Let us count the circles. A grown-up can help. Look at box A, on the left. Point to its circle. Say one. One circle!

Try box B

Now look at box B. Point to each circle once. One, two, three. The last number tells us how many. Three circles. No circle gets counted twice!

Your turn

Find box C in the middle. How many circles are there? Pause the video. Point and count with your grown-up.

One, two. Box C has two circles. Now find box D. It has five. Count slowly. One, two, three, four, five.

A counting surprise

Here is a fun fact. If we move the circles farther apart, there are still the same number. They take up more room, but no new circles appear.
