Worked example

A ledger with 8 large units and another with 96 small units can agree when one large unit equals 12 small units.

A fictional three-row ledger gives four cloth pieces, three grain measures per cloth piece, and a cost of twelve grain measures. Historical units and prices were not universal; use the rule stated in each question.
