First-person narration uses I or we for the narrator's own experience. Third-person narration refers to characters with names or he, she or they. These short excerpts have no quoted dialogue, so identify the narration itself.

Worked example

I opened the door is first person. Mina opened the door is third person. Either can tell a rich story.
