A formal constraint can support invention without defining all poetry. These plans specify a line count and a word count per line; count words separated by spaces in this exercise. This is not syllable counting or a universal poetic standard.

Worked example

A chosen form of 4 lines with 6 words each contains 24 words if every line follows the rule.
